Details:

This Canton oil pan is used. It was installed on a new 408 striker 351 sbf that went in 1978 ford f100 2wd truck, but the side kick outs oil pan touching front sub frame so we had to use rear sump. The scraper plate on the inside of this oil pan was trimmed to clear Canton main girdle engine, trimming will not cause any issues as some pans do have them. See pictures of the trimmed scraper, oil pan capacity is 7 quarts, which oil plus filter.

The engine was never started with this oil pan installed. Designed to fit most front sump production chassis except mustang ii, mavericks, and comets, which may with modification. Pan mounted dipstick most be used. May not fit 4wd model's due to the oil pan sickout.

Slosh baffle is welded to inside of pan and not removable.
